42ND & VINE, HOLLYWOOD HITS BROADWAY BENEFIT UNVEILS EXCITING TALENT GIFT BAGS Gift Bags Produced by On 3 Productions – It’s In The Bag!

(New York, NY – November 7, 2002) – The Entertainment Industry Foundation (EIF) will present some of the biggest names in film, music, television and theater with an exciting gift bag produced by On 3 Productions – It’s In The Bag! as a thank you for their participation in 42nd & Vine, Hollywood Hits Broadway. The event, scheduled for Tuesday, November 12, 2002 at the Waldorf-Astoria in New York, will unite Hollywood and Broadway’s leading stars who will perform selections from “The Songs of West Side Story,” by Leonard Bernstein. The funds raised through this evening will benefit The Jay Monahan Center for Gastrointestinal Health at NewYork-Presbyterian Hospital, Weill Medical College of Cornell University and EIF’s National Colorectal Cancer Research Alliance (NCCRA).

In addition to a Hollywood Hits Broadway gift-bag exclusive: a “Cool” bracelet created by “My Philosophy” by Italargento, Inc. All products in the gift bags have been donated for this event.



On 3 Productions worked with Selwyn Glasser, President, Italargento, Inc. to create this special bracelet to commemorate the event and help raise additional funds for The Jay Monahan Center for Gastrointestinal Health. The bracelets, created as a special thank you for celebrities participating in the 42nd & Vine, Hollywood Hits Broadway event, will be available to the public through a special hotline at 1-800-500-0018. A sterling silver version will be available for $100 and an 18ct white gold and diamond version will be available at $1,200 with proceeds benefiting the Center.

About The Jay Monahan Center for Gastrointestinal Health

The Jay Monahan Center for Gastrointestinal Health, named in honor of Katie Couric’s late husband, will offer a unique model of service for gastrointestinal (GI) cancers. The Monahan Center is the first comprehensive, fully integrated and interdisciplinary program that stresses education and prevention in addition to diagnosis and treatment of GI cancer. The Center’s goal is to make dealing with the difficult diagnosis of these cancers much easier for patients and their families. The Jay Monahan Center will be located in the Stich building on the NewYork Weill Cornell campus of the NewYork-Presbyterian Hospital. The Center is due to open in early 2004.
